Parnassus Avenue Water Main Installation Project
Overview
This project will provide critical redundancy to the pipeline transmission system serving Stanford Heights Reservoir and improve water quality to pipelines at the end of the Stanford Heights Reservoir pressure zone. The original Stanford Heights mains were installed between 1898 and 1902.

- Judah Street from 5th Avenue to 6th Avenue
- 6th Avenue from Judah Street to Locksley
- Locksley from 6th Avenue to Lawton Street
- Lawton Street from 6th Avenue to Funston Avenue
- Funston Avenue from Lawton Street to Aloha Avenue
- Aloha Avenue from Lawton to 15th Avenue
- Kirkham Street from 6th Avenue to 7th Avenue
- 11th Avenue from Lawton Street to Kirkham Street

CONSTRUCTION LOOK AHEAD -- ASPHALT PAVING --
Streets that were excavated to install new sections of ductile iron water pipelines will have their asphalt surfaces restored. There are no set dates set for construction, but the evaluation and planning process is currently underway for:
- Sixth Avenue from Judah Street to Lawton Street.
- Lawton Street from 7th Avenue to Funston Street
Aloha Street from Funston Street to 15th Avenue
Weather and construction issues could impact the schedule.
General workdays and hours (weather permitting) are Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
