School Field Trips
We love to help inspire children to save water and protect our environment. We offer free school field trips to the following locations:
College Hill Learning Garden
We designed this educational and demonstration garden to teach local students about environmentally friendly water use, food, energy, and waste systems.
525 Golden Gate Avenue
Learn about our green building’s solar power, graywater reuse, and use of recycled materials throughout the building.
Hummingbird Farm
We partner with a local community organization on this urban farm at Crocker Amazon Park, which offers affordable fresh produce to communities in the Excelsior neighborhood.
Pulgas Water Temple
San Francisco built this monument to the engineering marvel that brought Hetch Hetchy water more than 160 miles across California from the Sierra Nevada Mountains to the Bay Area.
Garden for the Environment
For 30 years we have partnered with a local nonprofit to support adult and youth education about sustainable gardening at this Inner Sunset teaching garden. Come learn to install water wise irrigation systems and tend your vegetable garden with non-toxic practices through hands-on classes.
Sunol AgPark (Agriculture Park)
For 30 years we have partnered with a local nonprofit to foster sustainable farming and public education programs while protecting natural resources in the Alameda Creek Watershed. The AgPark is located in the beautiful Sunol Valley on 18 acres at the confluence of two wild creeks and adjacent to the 100 year old Sunol Water Temple.
