San Bruno Avenue & Blanken Avenue Water Main Replacement Project
Overview
Critical upgrades to our aging water infrastructure are planned for:
- San Bruno Avenue between Campbell Avenue and Dwight Street
- Blanken Avenue between Bayshore Boulevard and Candlestick Cove Way
This project will include the installation of 8" and 16" ductile iron water mains, construction of new curb ramps, and pavement restoration.

Week of May 18
- Sawcutting, excavation, and installation of 8-inch water main: San Bruno Avenue between Paul Avenue and Ward Street
- Excavate connection pits: San Bruno Avenue between Ward and Campbell streets
- Pipeline connections: Intersections of Blanken Avenue and Nueva Avenue; and Blanken Avenue and Peninsula Avenue
- Concrete streetbase restoration: Blanken Avenue between Bayshore Boulevard and Peninsula Avenue
- Final paving: Blanken Avenue between Bayshore Boulevard and Peninsula Avenue
Week of May 25
- Sawcutting, excavation, and installation of 8-inch water main: San Bruno Avenue between Mansell and Ward streets
- Excavate connection pits: San Bruno Avenue between Paul Avenue and Ward Street
- Concrete streetbase restoration: Blanken Avenue between Bayshore Boulevard and Nueva Avenue
- Final paving: Blanken Avenue between Bayshore Boulevard and Nueva Avenue
Week of June 1
- Sawcutting, excavation, and installation of 8-inch water main: San Bruno Avenue between Mansell and Ward streets
- Concrete streetbase restoration: Blanken Avenue between Tocoloma Avenue and Executive Park Boulevard
- Final paving: Blanken Avenue between Tocoloma Avenue and Executive Park Boulevard
