San Bruno Avenue & Blanken Avenue Water Main Replacement Project
Overview
Critical upgrades to our aging water infrastructure are planned for:
- San Bruno Avenue between Campbell Avenue and Dwight Street
- Blanken Avenue between Bayshore Boulevard and Candlestick Cove Way
This project will include the installation of 8" and 16" ductile iron water mains, construction of new curb ramps, and pavement restoration.

Construction Look Ahead*
Week of August 3
- Excavate connection pits: San Bruno Avenue between Dwight Street and Campbell Avenue
- Service changeovers: San Bruno Avenue between Dwight Street and Campbell Avenue
- Pipeline connections: NIGHTWORK (This work is being done at night to accommodate the needs of neighborhood businesses which are affected by the temporary interruption of water service, and to minimize the impacts to traffic, bus service, bicycle and pedestrian traffic, or other City services to a neighborhood.)
- Thursday, August 6 from 8pm - midnight: Intersection of San Bruno Avenue and Paul Avenue
Week of August 10
- Excavate connection pits: San Bruno Avenue between Dwight Street and Campbell Avenue
- Service changeovers: San Bruno Avenue between Dwight Street and Campbell Avenue
