Happy San Francisco Small Business Week! Founded by the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce, this annual week-long celebration is dedicated to the thriving small business community. This year's series of workshops, networking opportunities and activities are centered around the theme of “Rising Together,” which emphasizes how the collaboration of small businesses can create a thriving ecosystem and sustainable success.

Several small businesses across the City also contribute to our vibrant communities by being customers of the San Francisco Public Utilities Commision's (SFPUC) clean energy programs, CleanPowerSF and Hetch Hetchy Power. In honor of Small Business Week, here are five businesses that are powered by 100% clean energy.

Before starting Burke and Black, Nicole Burke worked for over 15 years in restaurants both in New York (Del Posto) and San Francisco (Quince, Gary Danko).
