Noe Valley Water Main Replacement Project
Overview
Critical upgrades to our aging water infrastructure are planned for:
- Jersey Street between Douglass and Church streets
- Elizabeth Street between Hoffman and Castro streets
- Diamond Street between 23rd and 26th streets
- Douglass Street between 23rd and 25th streets
- 25th Street between Douglass and Diamond Streets - ADDED TO THE PROJECT NOVEMBER 2025
This project will include the installation of 8" and 16" ductile iron water mains and pavement restoration.
Construction Look Ahead*
Week of July 20
- Concrete street restoration: 900 block of Douglass Street, near 25th Street
- Site clean up
Week of July 27
- Concrete street restoration: 900 block of Douglass Street, near 25th Street

As of August 3
All work has been completed, with the exception of final paving on the blocks listed below. Crews expect to complete final paving in late August to early September.

- Jersey Street between Diamond and Douglass streets
- Diamond Street between Jersey and 26th streets
- 25th Street between Diamond and Douglass streets
