As San Francisco's not-for-profit clean energy provider, the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC) is committed to providing clean, reliable, and affordable electricity for our customers. That's why we are proposing to reduce rates by 25% for residential and some large commercial customers, and 20% for all other customers, beginning in March.
Also in 2026, customers will see additional changes to their electricity bills. These include PG&E’s new Base Services Charge and updates to a fee called the Power Charge Indifference Adjustment (PCIA).
Join us for a free one-hour webinar called “Understanding the Changes Coming to Your Electric Bill” on Thursday, February 19, at 10 am to learn more. We’ll also share resources on how to manage your electricity bill.
