What is a Gas Service request?
A gas service request with the SFPUC is only available to municipal customers served by Hetch Hetchy Power. We help coordinate with PG&E for your removal of permanent gas service or temporary disconnection of existing gas service.
-
Do I need to pay PG&E for the shutdown or gas removal?
There may be costs associated with a temporary shutdown or permanent gas removal. PG&E will estimate these costs, which are payable by the applicant directly to PG&E.
-
Why do I need to pay a fee to the SFPUC for a gas service request?
The SFPUC fee is used to cover the cost of staff time and administrative support coordinating with PG&E on the applicant's behalf. Visit the Power Miscellaneous Fees webpage to get more information about fees.
