From the hardwood to the Southeast Treatment Plant, the stories of Bob Harrell and Odell Agnew began well before their careers at the SFPUC.

Every November, we honor and celebrate the many Veterans who have sacrificed so much to serve our Country and protect its values. Veterans Day is a time to remember those who have served in either of the five branches of service within the United States Military: Army, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, and Marine Corps. At the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC), Veterans are working throughout the Agency, bringing their past experiences and wisdom into their work. By strengthening pipelines to career opportunities for a more inclusive workforce, the SFPUC is able to attract a diverse and talented group of employees. In honor of Veterans Day, let’s hear from some of the Vets currently working at the SFPUC.
