We work with restaurants and food service establishments to help prevent these pollutants from entering and clogging our sewer system. Fats, Oils and Grease (FOG) can be a major problem for our City’s sewers. When poured down the drain, FOG hardens inside sewer pipes, constricting wastewater flow and clogging the pipes. This can lead to sewer overflows onto City streets, which is a very expensive problem. In fact, we spend millions of dollars each year to clear grease-clogged pipes. Job Order Contracts (JOC) are a great way of increasing the capacity of your business, while growing your resume, and giving you direct access to Project Managers. JOCs can lead to larger contracts with the SFPUC. Each issued Task Order is a lump sum, firm-fixed-price and includes a specific, Detailed Scope of Work and Price Proposal, utilizing the Construction Task Catalog (CTC) line items.
