The San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC), a department of the City and County of San Francisco, uses Google Translate and GTranslate to translate pages in to several languages for visitors. The tool is not perfect. Automated translation may miss context, the full meaning may be lost, or words may be inaccurately translated.

The SFPUC does not guarantee the accuracy of translations through Google Translate and GTranslate, and the translated text should not be considered exact. The SFPUC disclaims and will not accept any liability for damages or losses of any kind caused by the use of the Google Translate and GTranslate feature. 

The official text of the SFPUC’s website is the English language version. T he English version is always the authoritative version of the website.

Some items on the site may not be translated, such as images containing text, documents, maps, and web page elements. In addition, some features on the site may not work in the translated versions.
